Fay Hanniker BA (Hons), PGCE, C Cert, MA, MBACP Accred
I am an experienced accredited relationship counsellor, having worked with Relate and in private practice for 12 years. I also work as a trainer running workshops on relationship-based issues. These include 3 years working on the Separated Parents Information Programme to support separated parents and their children as well as delivering training for professionals supporting families in schools and Surestart centres.
I specialise in working with families, couples and individuals facing challenges whether this is in, or at the end of,their relationships. I work collaboratively with my clients to enable them to find more fulfilling and less conflicted relationships. In counselling we can explore and understand the beliefs and behaviours that enable positive healthy relationships and those that contribute to difficulties so that informed choices about the relationship's future can be made.

Michaela Reeves PST Dip, C Cert, MA, COSRT Accred
During my 14 years of experience as a relationship counsellor I have supported my clients, enabling them to explore, understand and resolve a wide and diverse range of difficulties. I am committed to helping people deal with emotional crises and strengthen their relationships, through increased self awareness and enabling change . As well as counselling, I have run training courses for many different family and relationship related issues, including the Separated Parents Information Programme, for separated parents in conflict and Dealing with Difficult Behaviour - a parenting course.
In the last eight years I have developed specialism through professional training and accreditation, to help couples and individuals where intimacy has become difficult, whether emotional or sexual, in my Psycho Sexual Therapy (PST) practice. I help my clients recognise and challenge unhelpful learning, beliefs and behaviours in order to enjoy their intimate lives more fully. I have tutored student counsellors to become Psycho Sexual Therapists over the past 5 years for the Relate Institute.
Accredited Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT); MA in Relationship Therapy ( Relate through Hull University); Cert. Marital and Couple Counselling (Relate); Cert. Counselling Young People; Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy
Diane Aspell AdvDip, BSc (Psych), Cert, MA, MBACP
Over the last 12 years as a qualified counsellor, I have worked therapeutically with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents. This has been in private practice and, also, with the charities, Relate and Launchpad. As a trainer, I have delivered the Separated Parents Information Programme (supporting separating parents as they prioritise their children’s well-being) and I have written and delivered workshops for those people working with young people going through separation and divorce.
I see the counselling process as collaborative – we will look at what is going on for you, your relationship or your family; what your aims and objectives are and how we can work together to achieve them. Because the range of challenges that people face in their lives is so diverse, I take an integrated approach to counselling – drawing on the psychodynamic, systemic, humanistic and CBT ideas.
